Classroom Antics is a 10-year old STEM enrichment organization. It started off in Cleveland, and quickly expanded to Columbus and Cincinnati. This year, we are excited to bring our camps to Detroit.

We offer summer technology camps and after-school engineering clubs throughout the suburbs of Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit. We have many locations throughout each metro area, so that parents have multiple options.

We believe that every child deserves to find their purpose and passions in life. We expand their creativity and imagination through technology and engineering. Our philosophy and purpose is to help prepare kids for tomorrow.

We offer summer technology camps in video game design, Minecraft coding, stop-motion animation movie making, computer programming and invention, LEGO robotics, and video production. We meet the students with their interest in Minecraft, Youtube or Video Games and teach them how to actually create with it. Often, students don’t even realize they’re learning.

Our summer programs are 15 hours long over the course of 1 week (3 hours/day for 5 days). The cost of a weeklong program is $235. Parents are also welcome to sign up for 2 camps, morning and afternoon, to make it a full day camp.

Our summer staff are local-area teachers and professional educators that are passionate about STEM education. We recruit summer camp instructors through the local school systems. They get a fulfilling summer job within their passion, working with children. We get high quality instructors with years of classroom experience.

Classroom Antics wants to help kids turn from consumers into creators. So instead of just playing video games, they are designing them. Instead of watching movies, they are producing them. Kids want to learn about the things they are passionate about, and these classes and camps help show kids there is a careers in what they love to do. Plenty of students want to grow up and become video designers or Youtubers, and this is their first taste of the skills they need for that.

Summer camp registration has already begun. Each year, we start registration on black Friday. With only 12 spaces available in each camp, we encourage parents to sign-up as soon as they know they want to attend. We already have one camp filled.
