Veterans day is on Nov 11th every year to celebrate and honor the Military Veterans, that is all those people who have served in United States Armed Forces. Do not confuse it with Memorial day, while Veterans Day honors the services of all US Military Veterans but Memorial Day honor those who died in their Military service. For kids it is thus important to understand the importance of this federal holiday, and to get ahead with meaningful ways to celebrate Veterans Day. The 11th hour or 11th day of 11th month marked the signing of armistice to end the great war or WW1 in 1918. It became Veterans Day in 1971 eventually.
