For all nature lovers, Tualatin River Keepers Summer Camps aids in nature exploration. The picturesque locations of the camp like Dirksen Nature Park and Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge are ideal locations to keep one engrossed. City of Tigard, Oregon welcomes the campers on the scenic landscapes.

Apart from spending time on exploring natural world in a safe environment, all camps are guided by able camp counselors. Hiking, art, craft, games and science are a part of all camps. In addition all camps are breeding nests for a lasting friendships. In fact the camps are specifically designed to help the campers bond well.

For all those nature enthusiasts the Tualatin boasts of being the home to nearly 200 species of birds, nearly fifty species of mammals and over twenty five species of reptiles and amphibians. This in addition to a large numbers of insects, fish and plants, making it an ideal place to learn about nature in its own lap.

The camps kick start from June 24 and run through August 24. They are divided on age basis and admit kids from four years to thirteen years of age. All the camps are day camps from 9 am to 4 pm and are conducted on a weekly basis. The curriculum of the sessions are quite interesting and engrossing too.
