Challenger Sports Camps have been operating since 1985, originally under the name ‘British Soccer Camps.’
Challenger Sports is headquartered in Lenexa, KS, a city in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Challenger also has regional offices in Providence, Baltimore, Chicago, Atlanta, Texas, Denver, San Diego, Seattle, and Sacramento, as well as an office in the UK.
The right people; teaching the right things; at the right time. Challenger dedicates an enormous amount of time in locating the right staff; people who are passionate about the sport and can deliver high-quality coaching in a fun and educational way for younger players and who are adaptable enough to be able to adjust the coaching direction for older players.
We offer programs for male and female athletes of all ages in the following sports: soccer, rugby, multisport, and basketball.
We specialize in providing fun, professionally-ran, and educational programs for our younger campers. For our older campers, we provide more advanced curriculums leading to advancements in the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
We have a website dedicated to coach recruitment, we also work with a handful of colleges and universities around the world to locate candidates.
Our potential staff are assessed on the field and undergo formal interviews, background checks, references and VISA checks (for international staff). This summer we will have 650 coaches.
You player will participate in a collection of training sessions from the world’s top soccer countries (Brazil, France, Spain, UK, and US).
Challenger coaches are enthusiastic about soccer and love sharing their expertise and cultural experiences with the campers. The training environment is age-appropriate and invites players to try new skills
We offer three primary weeklong programs under the International Soccer Camp umbrella.
Our TinyTykes programs, for ages 2-5, runs for 1hr a day and starts at $99.99.
Our most popular program, the half-day program for ages 5-16, runs for 3hrs a day and starts at $149.00.
Our full-day program, for ages 8-16, runs for 6hrs a day and starts at $189.00.
Camp enrollment is open at the start of the year and typically ends mid-August.
The best time to register for an International Soccer Camp is at least 30 days prior to the program’s start date. When a camper registers in this time period, they will qualify to receive FREE Game Jersey. They will also have enough time to invite any of their friends to join them at camp.
