Summer camps for kids and teens are the most sought after in summers, but preparation and decision starts from as early as November of the previous year. This one is famous for its special events like bumper tubing, carnival day, Halloween in July and trips to the beach. The facilities include new outdoor roller hockey arena, fleets of sailboats, and MasterCraft ski boats.

4. Raquette Lake camp is exclusively for girls and costs $10,200 plus $550 canteen charge, at New York’s Adirondack. Tennis is the main event and it is taught by renowned Davis cup players. Apart from this the other most welcomed activity is five-day, 80-mile canoe trip to Saranac Lake for the elder kids.

5. Vega camp is exclusively for girls and costs $10,200, this one again in Maine. It emphasis the over all development of the camper at personal levels. The various activities include traditional sports, adventure and arts programs. In addition to public speaking of campers in a weekly sunset circle event around a bonfire.

The amazing part of these camps are that they restrict usage of electronic devises like lap tops or cell phone at certain points. This helps the campers develop a rapport with other campers. Most times these bonds last for long time in future.
