Plump pumpkins, ecstatic wagon rides, peek-a-boo at corn mazes, s’mores, apple bobbing, trick-o-treats and the colorful leaves all around; just makes it right for a fall friendly autumn fun. The time off from school and the many awesome family friendly activities going on around, makes this time break much needed one. And traditionally this was celebrated for being the last official mild weather before the chilly winters bring in some snow. Lets look at some fun family activities for fall break.

After that scorching spell of summers, though with ample relishing camping and barbecues too; its time to bid adieu to summer breezy weather. With schools being shut for fall, its time to connect with family in some stupendous fall friendly activities. The most important for my family being the pumpkin patch fun and the family portraiture with my self-proclaimed man bringing on his DSLR.

Look at some of these amazing fall family fun ideas, which are not just entertaining but also building strong memories for the family. Our best of memories be from the holiday fun we had as a child with our family. So help your little one build these heartening memories along with some fun too:

No matter what part we are, a pumpkin patch is just the most sought after space during this time. Corn maze and the corn pool along with farm fun is what makes this family friendly activity just so special. Check out the fresh pumpkins and pick your to decorate for spookilicious Halloween fun along with jack-o-lanterns to be put at front yard. Decorate your pumpkin, get ahead with hayride, straw bounce, spider web crawl and feed farm animals as you relish the hotdogs and pulled porks

Fall family portraiture is the longest tradition for this time of the year. Pick the most colorful location and get ahead with some family portraits amid those red, orange, yellow and browns spilled by mother nature all around. Some wonderful ideas can be along with the wagon, hay or pumpkins too. Make this autumn break ecstatic and fun at the same time

Having the pleasure of being a part of some wonderful fall events at sea life and local zoo in AR, I would definitely recommend this. Specially the fall and halloween activities at these spaces are truly heart filled. They not just help the kids and families to have a fun filled time but also give an insight into the very many ways this time is celebrated. From local delicacies to backdrops for awesome pictures, all animals, ambiance and people dressed in festivity and everything smelling fall kind of.

Pumpkin spice and pumpkin pie are not just it, from dunkin donuts to starbucks to Mc Donalds every food joint has their fall special menu which is truly sumptuous. Try as many possible for the next only come when the next years fall fun begins. I have personally loved the pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks and the pumpkin cupcakes so much that we even tried making them at home

5- Barbecue and s’mores:

Officially this would be the end to a clear warm season, and thus its reason enough to celebrate the last few weeks while it lasts. Have a barbecue for the family and make s’mores too, this would be the most gourmand celebration for the fall break. Some exquisite ideas to make this family fun activity more interesting is fishing or camping alongside a cozy cabin or tent, with breathtaking views of fall colors around.
