Little Passports is an initiative by two moms who were mesmerized by geographical and cultural diversity. Their vision is to inspire young kids to explore world history, science and geography in as fun and enriching way as possible. Their engaging activities for age 3-14 have made them very popular among kids. Imagine little one’s handy suitcase, passport with stamps of countries visited and two little virtual guides on a scooter taking through the entire globe. It is interesting and capturing.
Map and globe specially has been fascinating my little explorer ever since her first not so humble stint with table globe at age 1. Though it crashed then, but it opened new horizons for my curious rover. Being from an immigrant family, we had some privileges of traveling to geographically antipodal locations with her. Food, festivals, flora and fauna diversity always captivated her so much that we started searching more information on this subject. That is when I came across Little Passports.
Its been over a year and the learning has been immense. It is incredible how activities and education are blended in such mesmerizing ways. Even before my little one opens her next set I sneak out with the shipment. The effects on me, “far-more-curious-than-my-little-one” mom are hilarious. We almost compete to read whats in the box.
The monthly subscription is a chronological set of booklets including stickers, puzzles, activity books, stories and more. The subscription comprise two friends traveling the world on a scooter with their magical GPS. Enthralling as it sounds, you virtually will progress in as simulated travel as possible. With a passport , including stamps form the countries you visit, their stories and the enriching cultural diversity.
The kids learn how to packand legal documentation involved in world travel. Along with the intellectual gain they will have engaging stimulation by progressing further with the subscription.
For the times you enjoy at home with your little ones, add some zing and knowledge to it. A little effort and the child can have an engaging and enriching summer. Sometimes geography and travel can be captivating and fun-filled learning. Enjoy exploring with your little one, who knows you may find your passion there too, just as I did. Never mind the confrontations we have but our peace keeper daddy helps us makes it through to the next month.
