This summer, give your little athlete something new to learn and master! Muscatine High School boys basketball coach Brandon Welsch and staff is hosting a a shooting/ball handling camp and basketball camp for budding champs in the months of June and July.

The shooting/ball handling camp is scheduled for June 9-10 at MHS. Four to eighth graders are eligible for the camp.

The camp is ideal for children wanting to strengthen their foundations of the perfect shot. The camp will purely focus on fundamentals with an emphasis on individualized and small group attention, followed by drills and shooting games. Parents will have to shell out $30 per camper. The last day of enrollment for this camp is June 6.

The basketball camp will be held on July 10-11 at MHS. Students entering grades three through eight can enroll into this camp, which will focus on individual development and team play through workout stations, five-on-five games and contests. The cost is $35 per camper and the last date of registration is June 25.
