Lifestyle at NYU Summer Program for Kids (SPK) differs totally in contrast to other camps. These ones are therapeutically designed for the children having Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In addition this camp also counsels parents over how to handle their kids who are sensitive on several occasions.

Seven week summer camp in New York is exclusively to treat children between the ages seven to eleven years old, who are suffering from ADHD and behavior disorders.

SPK concentrates on children’s social behavior, friendship skills, coping skills, academic competence, problem-solving skills, self-esteem, classroom behavior, sports competence, rule following, home behavior and frustration tolerance. Scheduled dates of this camp is from June 25- August 10.

This noble camp is filled with energetic counselors who are all upper class men in college or graduate students of behavioral therapy training program conducted by the NYU. It is funded by the NIMH.

Specialized parenting tips are imparted to the parents of these children. The result of this session would be phenomenal in developing better parent-child relations.
