Are you looking for an absolutely fun filled, adventurous and educational summer camps for your children? Take a peek at what Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology has to offer!

The museum will be hosting half-day anthropolgy summer camps, starting June 30, for ages 5-11 years. Priced at $75 for each Monday-Thursday session, with the exception of week one, this anthropology camp promises to be an absolute once-in-a-lifetime kind of an affair.

Week 1, June 30-July 3: Explore Fantasy Worlds. Four camps in one week $25 per camp or $80 all week: Monday, Harry Potter; Tuesday, Dr. Who, Wednesday, Sherlock Holmes; Thursday, Pirates of Caribbean.

Week 2, July 7–10: Shipwreck Archaeology. The museum’s exhibit tells the story of navigation and the shipwreck of the Frolic in 1850.

Week 3, July 14-17: Cosmic Volcanoes. Volcanoes are essential to life on Earth. Could they be the key to finding life beyond Earth?

Week 4 July 21-24: Jungle Safari. Explore the jungle ecosystems in Africa, Asia, South America and Australia.
