Camp Eagle

Camp Eagle Hill was founded in the late winter of 1963 and opened for its first summer the very same year which was one-time dude ranch where guests would visit to ride horses, milk cows, and enjoy the great outdoors, Camp Eagle Hill started with just a few buildings and facilities.

In 1963, sixty campers experienced their first unforgettable Summer Camp with them, participating in all the fun of a camp season and building lifelong friendships.

Over the years, Eagle Hill has added tremendously to its facility and is now filled with, to name just a few facilities, beautiful sports fields and courts, two pools, a tremendous gymnasium, a gymnastics pavilion, a large double looped go-cart track and many large indoor areas that provide their campers with a varied choice of activities regardless of the weather.

Over the years, their camp population has grown and these days they have somewhere in the range of about 250 campers. Despite their growth over time, Eagle Hill has maintained its sense of history from its early days, promoting the same qualities of participation and camaraderie for its campers over the course of the past five decades.

Something about the Programs

The Eagle Hill Program is a dynamic one, designed to give their campers a chance to explore, create, learn, exercise and above all else, have fun! Their program creates common experiences for their campers and helps in the development of great friendships.

Since because they believe that camp days should be active keeping this in mind, each camp day is set up to provide some physical activity through either sports programming or participation in a number of optional activities that are physical in nature. (getting to the top of our climbing tower, rowing a boat, taking a dance or gymnastics class or mountain biking around camp) At the same time, they realize the importance of campers having input into their daily activity choices.

At Eagle Hill, they have a ton of optional activities, many of which are a little more relaxed in nature which includes editing a video, playing guitar, catching a fish, or creating some pottery.
