Visit the Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium for enjoying the summer camp 2013.
Pier Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is a science-based, environmental learning and public education facility. With goals to raise awareness of the ocean environment, promote conservation through stewardship, and to teach marine science to the public, the Aquarium’s summer camps and field trips are a popular Heal the Bay educational program.
Moreover, Enroll your child in a fun, educational marine science learning experience in their Science Adventures day camp at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. This camp is designed for children independent of their parents where each day is filled with a different marine-themed topic explored through games, crafts and laboratory experiences in a setting that allows for interaction with more than 100 species of marine life.
Is your budding scientist wowed by whales? We have a day devoted to the largest animals on the planet; kids can gnaw through the misconceptions about sharks on “Toothy Tuesday;” the North and South poles are two of the world’s most challenging environments and we’ll devote a day to learning about the animals that live at the extreme ends of the Earth.
