“When you’re sixteen, people want to help you, teach you and mentor you. But by the time you’re eighteen the world expects too much and offers too little,” says David Fagan, the founder of a summer camp for teenage entrepreneurs that is a mash up of Shark tank and American idol.

If you too dream of raising the next Zuckerberg, then you can get close to your dream by spending $3000 and packing off your teen to Fagan’s six-day summer camp in Laguna Beach. There, the children will learn things like how to develop a brand and bring an idea to market, through intensive training that would include photo shoots, graphic designing, website designing and more.

For Fagan, owner of Icon Builder Media, a marketing company based in Beverly Hills and author of numerous business books, his entrepreneur camps are a natural extension of what he’s been teaching his eight children since their birth — to make their own money.
