Our center opened in 2007 and we began our first camp season in the summer of 2008.

We are located in Wildcat Park, which is a City Park located on the south side of Joplin, MO.

Our mission is connecting kids to nature. We do this through hands on activities and experiential learning. Teaching kids conservation actions.

We offer over 4 miles of hiking trails, we do canoeing and fishing, getting out in nature and experiencing it at its best.

We run our session Tuesday through Friday, and in the mornings. The fee is $125. We offer scholarships for those in need.

I am the fulltime staff for the Camp. We have volunteers that are background checked and receive training on our summer sessions.

With so many people living in urban areas, they get so much indoor time. A lot of kids are not getting a connection to nature. It’s a great opportunity for parents to share their love and interest for the outdoors and nature with their kids.

They can register right up until the Camp starts.

We offer drop off from 7:30 am and we will supervise until 12:30 pm. Also, we have an Art & Nature Camp, which is very popular, and it’s a great opportunity for kids.
