Camp Whatchamakeit has been in existence since 2002. The camp began to prepare The WYCO Pride club team for the July tournaments during the college recruiting circuit. It was designed to allow the players to spend time together in a setting that promoted work ethic, commitment, and trust.
Camp W is located 10 minutes West of Fort Collins. It is a rural setting in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is a place where nature, spirit and beauty come together.
The philosophy is to provide a diverse basketball camp that brings together student-athletes from all over the country. The camp focuses on life, leadership and basketball and provides high intensity basketball drills while focusing on the development of the total athlete.
We specialize in basketball and teaching life and leadership skills.
Basketball activities and drills, whitewater rafting or local theme park.
Sessions run from Sunday afternoon to Friday at lunch time. 600.00 per session.
Our camper to staff to camper ratio is a 1 staff to 6 camper’s ratio.
We use former college players and coaches with years of combined experience.
Camp enrollment begins in January and ends the day each first day of a new session begins.
Parents should know that their kids are actually going to learn something and come away better players from a week of camp. It is important that your child is not just a number at camp, and that they actually get specialized attention with the skills and fundamental s of the game.
