We also offer a 1 week overnight camp for kids whose parents are in the military – Camp Yellow Ribbon takes place in Oconomowoc, WI every august.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What is your camp’s philosophy?” tab_id=”1488805562684-15743552-22ad”][vc_column_text]For the campers, the idea is to fill their days with activities that keep them engaged, help them to work on social skills, and offer opportunities to increase independence. For our families and parents, our camps give them a safe, fun place to send their kids so they don’t have to miss work.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What activities do you offer?” tab_id=”1489147114089-cc047cc3-c1b2″][vc_column_text]We offer a very typical Summer Camp experience – arts and crafts, group games, hiking, field trips, swimming, etc. In addition, we try to offer as many therapeutic activities as possible like music therapy and yoga. We also integrate the Health Matters curriculum into our camp programs. Health Matters is evidence based program that helps people with disabilities make healthier choices via a variety of fun games and activities.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What are the typical session lengths and approximate pricing for your camp?” tab_id=”1488805694385-c9eb90d8-8e19″][vc_column_text]2 of our day camps are for kids and adults aged 7 and up. These are located in South Milwaukee, WI and Wauwatosa, WI respectively. These camps run for 6 weeks, transportation is provided and the cost is $475 for the entire 6 weeks. Our other 2 day camps are for kids with disabilities aged 7 – 21 and they run for nine weeks. The cost of a full day, 9am-4:30pm, for the whole 9 weeks is $1500. We have before and after care available at an additional cost. Our week long overnight camp for kids whose parents are in the military – Camp Yellow Ribbon – costs just $50.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How much staff do you have and how do you select your staff? ” tab_id=”1488805789916-e80715d9-957f”][vc_column_text]We staff all of our camps on a 4:1 camper to staff ratio.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”When does your camp enrollment start and finish?” tab_id=”1488805868856-26e5c1c9-8fbc”][vc_column_text]We typically release our registration booklets in January.
