Forest Lake Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls, located just north of Lake George, in the Southern Adirondack Mountains of New York. Founded in 1926, Forest Lake Camp has enriched the lives of thousands of boys and girls. Generations of families have sent their children to FLC. Many of our original campers sent their own children (and now grandchildren) to FLC.

At Forest Lake, we believe that our beautiful surroundings are only the beginning of what we provide each camper. We look to nurture each camper’s experience which begins with the way we treat the campers and each other. Here are some of the things we live by:
1. The Camper. WE ALWAYS put the Camper first.
2. We will seek out opportunities for the Camper to achieve independence and to grow as a person.
3. We will assure each Camper’s happiness.
4. We will offer a wide variety of programs, activities and experiences, reflective of the diverse set of interests held by our Campers.
5. We will encourage our Campers to try and to reach.
6. We will maintain a warm, kind, safe, nurturing environment.
7. We will recognize the importance of counselors as role models, assuring they conform to the highest standards of integrity and behavior.
8. We will encourage strong personal relationships between Camper and counselor, and friendships among Campers.
9. We will seek improvement in all we do.
10. We will maintain the physical beauty of our setting. – See more at: http://cms.campnavigator.com/summer-camp-interviews/13-camp-interviews/522-forest-lake-camp-for-boys-gene-devlin-interview.html#sthash.IPfud2Bm.dpuf

Forest Lake Camp is designed to expose boys to a wide variety of activities, while also allowing them to grow skills in their areas of interest. The program at Forest Lake is elective and our campers choose their activities every day. As part of the traditional summer camp experience, boys at Forest Lake Camp can participate in a large variety of team sports, individual sports, the Arts and of course our adventure programs. Campers can choose to concentrate on specific activities to develop skill sets (for example, in sports such as soccer or baseball, or in arts such as music and theater. At the same time, our program provides variety and plenty of choice.
