However we don’t do this by just teaching the campers, we create the environment for them to mix with campers from all different nations to learn to communicate in a language other than their own. It is at these times that the campers can really appreciate how multi-cultural the world really is.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What activities do you offer?” tab_id=”1488805624311-5a7fb5cc-3923″][vc_column_text]We offer a range of activities depending on the age of the camper. Megève is a village based in the mountains which offers a host of different and exciting activities. As well as the traditional swimming the campers will discover new activities such as hiking with husky dogs, an adventure park in the trees, rafting etc. For the older campers, we offer mountain scooter, hydro-speed, stand-up paddle etc. This year we are also offering a new formula with one week in and around Lake Annecy which is the cleanest lake in the Alps as well as one week in Megève. Here the older campers can discover new water sports such as Canyoneering and discover the beautiful sites around the lake through activities such as Via Ferrata and a trip on a Segway.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What are the typical session lengths and approximate pricing for your camp?” tab_id=”1488805694385-c9eb90d8-8e19″][vc_column_text]The typical session length depends on the program chosen. For the ‘FUN’ program, the typical session length is 2 weeks but we would recommend 3 weeks to really immerse yourself in the language and the culture of France and to meet as many international students as possible. The ‘INTENSE’ program is a two week program. For a two-week full-board program for 7 to 11 year olds including accommodations in a prestigious hotel in the center of Megève, 15 hours of language lessons, sporting, cultural and artistic activities, the outing to either Chamonix or Annecy on the Sunday plus other activities, the price is 6260 CHF[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How much staff do you have and how do you select your staff? ” tab_id=”1488805789916-e80715d9-957f”][vc_column_text]Our camps are run by a qualified and experienced Camp Director and our camper, counselor ratio is above the national requirement in France at 1 counselor for 6 campers. Our counselors are able to communicate in both French and English and are experienced and qualified. We recruit through our website but we also have returning counselors every year.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”When does your camp enrollment start and finish?” tab_id=”1488805831034-03374034-f024″][vc_column_text]Enrollment for our Winter Camp for this winter is already underway and our brochure can be found on our website. Enrollments for summer 2015 are also open and we have a special promotion for enrollments before December 31st 2014. We can accept enrollments as late as June but we cannot guarantee places – we recommend that parents enroll as early as possible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Is there anything else that would be helpful for parents to know about your camp?” tab_id=”1488805868856-26e5c1c9-8fbc”][vc_column_text]Whilst our camp is principally about learning a new language we also recognize that the children are on holiday so our activities (as well as our classes) are all organized with the objective of having fun.
We are a small camp with a maximum of 50 campers per week and we want to remain so as we can really take care of the wellbeing of each child. We have many returning campers as they love the fact that they can meet children from around the world and the parents are reassured by our organization and personal approach. With today’s technology many of the campers keep in touch with each other long after the camp has finished.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What is the best way for parents to reach you to register for Camp?” tab_id=”1489137759404-5441804a-27d2″][vc_column_text]The best way is to visit our website: international language camps dot com where this is a lot of information about the camp and the different options. You will also find there the link to the online enrollment procedure. You can always call or write though if you have any questions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
