Hurrah! Summer is here and so is all the summertime fun. To make your child’s summer all the more fun, adventurous and educational one, the town of Frisco Recreation Department has announced day and sports camp for children aged between 5 to 15. Interested campers can avail summer day camps provided at Frisco: Fun Club and sports camp. Camp Navigator brings you all the briefs on it.

The Frisco Fun Club is a state-licensed day-camp program for children aged 5 to 12 and will run from Monday through Friday from June 2 to Aug. 15 at the Frisco Nordic Center.

This summer camp activity will encourage kids to stay active and make healthy decisions in life. It will include local and Front Range field trips, including hiking, playground visits and swimming in Summit County, as well as visits to Jumpstreet and Water World in Denver.

Frisco Adventure Camp meant for children aged between 6 to 12 who want to boost their biking and skating skills. In this weeklong camp, instructors will guide the participants, beginning with the basics and progressing to intermediate skills by week’s end.

Frisco Bike Camp is open to youths ages 6 to 14. Instructors will focus on all of the Frisco Bike Park features. Participants will learn body positioning, balance and how to maneuver through obstacles.

Girls on the Run Camp is especially meant for girls where they can participate in interactive activities, such as running, playing games and discussing important issues.

Frisco H20 Camp is a water-sports camp meant for youths aged 9 to 15 who would love to Lake Dillon and learn kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, canoeing and fishing skills.

Frisco Skateboard Camp is a half-day camp designed for beginner and intermediate skateboarders ages 6 to 12.

Registrations are on. Office opens at 8 a.m.
