STEM Summer Camps to kick off at the Museum of Aviation from June 2

For parents wanting to enroll their budding techies into Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, STEM summer camps, here is the big announcement. The Museum of Aviation Education Department have opened admissions for camps scheduled to be held between June-July 2014.

The Museum will host as many as 17 different camps for Grades Pre-K-12,. Commencing from June 2 and lasting until July 25, the day camps will be held from 9.00 a.m to noon each day. The enrollment fee for each student is $125 and must be paid in advance.

Pre-K and K Camps: Aviation Camp, Engineering Camp, Pirate Camp, Princess Camp Wilderness Camp, Space and Rocketry, Story Book and Science Camp.

1st and 2nd Grade Camps: Aviation Camp, Engineering Camp, CSI Mystery Camp, Mad Scientist Camp, Pirate Camp, Princess Camp, and Space and Rocketry.

3rd through 5th Grade Camps: Aviation Camp, Engineering Camp, CSI Mystery Camp, Fairy STEM Camp, Mad Scientist Camp, Space and Rocketry, and Survivor Camp.

6th through 9th Grade Camps: Animation Studio, CSI Mystery Camp, Engineering Camp, Movie Makers Studio, Space and Rocketry, Survivor Camp, and Website Design Studio.

8th through 12th Grade Camps: Advanced Mission Quest Flight Simulation, Air Traffic Control, and Mission Quest Flight Simulation.

Most of the camps will be held in the Century of Flight Hangar. There will be scope for outdoor experiences too, but not for extended periods.
